If you don’t like dried fruit then use Pandoro and maybe mix it up and use a berry jam at the bottom or sprinkle with chocolate chips or you can buy chocolate chip Panettone
Ingredients
1 whole pantone sliced
200ml milk
200ml of cream
50g butter
3 eggs
50g caster sugar
2 tablespoon of light demerara sugar
3 heap tablespoons Orange marmalade
1 teaspoons Cinnamon
Method
- Heat oven to gas mark 4/ 180c / 160c
- Butter you dish and spread the marmalade on the bottom of the dish
- Butter your pantone slices and place in the dish
- In a jug mix together the eggs, milk, cream, sugar and the cinnamon
- Pour this over the pantone in the dish, and leave to soak up for 15 minutes
- Sprinkle over the demerara sugar and bake for 25 minutes until set
- Serve with cream or custard
