Panettone and Butter Pudding


If you don’t like dried fruit then use Pandoro and maybe mix it up and use a berry jam at the bottom or sprinkle with chocolate chips or you can buy chocolate chip Panettone


1 whole pantone sliced

200ml milk

200ml of cream

50g butter

3 eggs

50g caster sugar

2 tablespoon of light demerara sugar

3 heap tablespoons Orange marmalade

1 teaspoons Cinnamon


  1. Heat oven to gas mark 4/ 180c / 160c
  2. Butter you dish and spread the marmalade on the bottom of the dish
  3. Butter your pantone slices and place in the dish
  4. In a jug mix together the eggs, milk, cream, sugar and the cinnamon
  5. Pour this over the pantone in the dish, and leave to soak up for 15 minutes
  6. Sprinkle over the demerara sugar and bake for 25 minutes until set
  7. Serve with cream or custard
